What is Kava?

Kava is a cultural food originating in the Pacific Islands. The word “kava” can refer to the plant, the root, or the beverage made from the root of the kava plant.

It’s been enjoyed for over 3000 years as a family drink for connection, respect, and overall well-being. Today, kava is enjoyed by millions worldwide and has found a place in modern life alongside other cultural foods, valued for its natural health benefits and social role.
